speaker replacement in front doors

Anyone know how to get the front doors off of a 96 avalon? I took all the plastic caps and screws off but the door seems to be stuck at where the power window and lock switches are located. btw anyone know the speaker size? ive heard anywhere from 4 inches to 5 and a half

There are also some special clips, but these are at the edge of the panel, not near the switches. After you get the 2 big screws out, there are a couple of screws at the bottom. Did you remove the switch plate? The speakers are 4". I replaced mine with Infinity 4002i's. There is more treble from these than the stock speakers. Not entirely happy with them, especially if you don't have the woofer.
