d15b7 ta a d16z6 engine swap
I have this motor problem with thih 92 honda civic dx 4 door 5 speed
i would like to swap out the d15b7 to a d16z6 i know that the vtec needs some wiring and a new computer p28 will the mounts,tranny, connectors work from my d15b7 any infromation or ideas in this area thanks natecivic 92 |

yes direct swap except u need to wire wire vtec like you mentioned

well i have heard that on the 92 civic there is a pass/side shocker plug that a side the firewall side
of the plug is alreadywired for vtec do you think i will need a p28 ecu |

u need the p28 ecu. your right vtec is already wired wup from the harness to the ecu so all u need to do is run 3 wires from the solenoid to the passenger shock tower harness

There's no reason to make 2 threads on the same thing. When I told you it was prewired, I ment that there are 2 wires going from that shock tower plug to the ECU; but you still will need something to run the vtec (ecu).
