SH vs. non-SH tranny
The 2001 Prelude SH model came with a limited slip differential. The 2001 Prelude non-SH did not come with a limited slip differential. I have a 2001 Prelude non-SH, can I find a limited slip diff from an SH and just bolt it in? Would that fit? Also, is there any way to get a smaller third gear and perhaps a larger fifth?

Re: SH vs. non-SH tranny
Who told you the SH had a limited slip? Thats not true. The SH had ATTS. You cant bolt an ATTS tranny to a base block.
As far as gearing, put in different gears.

I don't know where I got that information... Correction noted. Would you have to swap out the computer to switch to an SH tranny?

You probably do if you want the ATTS...

Re: SH vs. non-SH tranny
You CANT swap the tranny's on a base block. Unless you do alot of cutting. The ATTS gets in the way.

Re: SH vs. non-SH tranny
the back of the base block is completely different than that of a base block.
