Need Info

okay so i have a 94 vr4 and i want to know if your in second gear going like 40mph and you floor it after the turbos spool to the max are you still supposed to be going as fast as when they start to spool because my vr4 just kinda drops like if it's number but engine going and no turbos. i have borla cat-back cone filter greddy type s bov and msd wires

maybe you have a boost leak or something???? how many miles are on the car and when was the last time you did a tune up????

the car has 90k miles on it and tune up i don't know because i just got the car. but yea i was thinking i might have a boost leak or something

Well pressure test and eliminate boost leaks, because that should be an almost weekly event. it

But assuming I understand your question correctly, our stock turbos aren't big enough to hold full boost to redline, they start dropping off, and by the time they hit redline, they are only at like 10psi.

oh okay okay i thought i had a mjor boost leak or something. i'm new to turbos and new to the vr4 also but yeah that's right i forgot vr4's have small turbos okay cool. so do you all think i can pull a 90 rx-7 single turbo engine stock that runs 13.8 at the track. i have borla cat-back intake msd wires and bov. the guy wants to run and i don't wanna get beat.
