Aux input/iPod interface

I've got the 6-disc changer in my tC, and I didn't know whether or not (since it is a Pioneer unit) if the back of the head unit had an aux input. Also, I've read about the iPod interface that is I guess now available, but from what I've seen it's rediculously priced, and an aux cable is like $8. Anyone know if the tC's head unit has an input? Thanks, Stefan

It's a 2005...I thought they didn't offer the iPod interface until 2006, is that what year yours is?

Re: Aux input/iPod interface

yes, mine is an xb as well, the offer the ipod interface as an option but from what I read its only a charger, I believe the auxilary input thats in my center console is for the ipod connection

Re: Aux input/iPod interface

Thanks jwaj, I'll check, I know I have a cigarette lighter in the center armrest/console, but I'll have to take a closer look for an input. I just thought that there might be an input on the back of the stereo, but I didn't want to take the stereo out to see...I did that with my celica and it was just a waste of time. But thanks for your help, Stefan

Re: Aux input/iPod interface

you could probably go to an audio place, and have the stuff hooked up for around $50
