Master Cylinder + ABS question.

I have a 95 EX that needs a new master cylinder. I got a Haynes manual to help me through it. In the section that tells about replacing the master cylinder it says that if you have ABS to take it to the dealer because a special tool is needed to bleed the system afterward. Do I really need to do this? I do most of my own work on my cars. But I have never heard of a special tool being required to bleed the brakes. Any advice would be great. I would like to fix it tomorrow.
