Removing a radio 1994 Tercel

All,

Are there any instructions on how to remove the radio? I took out the glove compartment, but still could not get to it.

Thanks!

the plastic trim piece around the radio pulls straight out. its only held in by 4 clips. you can then remove the screws that actually hold the radio in.

I also once took apart the whole dash, trying to get to the radio.

Found out after an hour, that yes, that trim piece removes by simply using a flathead screw driver. The reason it wasnt noticed before because that trim piece blends in with the whole console very well. It doesnt look like its removable.

Poor Dash
