Question olds 98 wont start

i have a olds 98 that i just bought and it started when the engine was cold now it wont start at all i replaced the battery and the ign module and even the crank sensor but still nothing i do remeber driving it and the gas gage was moving up and down . there is also some kind of gas purge that goes off about 40 secs when key is turned i was wondering if just got a flood car or what it could be year is a 92 and i have no spark

what year, first? Got spark, injector pulse, fuel pressure, basics here.

i have a 93 olds 98 that wont start changed the cylinoid, starter passed changed the pos battery end, still just clicks when u turn over the key when u trace the pos cable it runs into the firewall and from there unsure starter is on the front driver side of the engine my question is where does the cable go from the firewall and why does it go into the firewall?
