Question Heat for just a while in 98 windstar

Can anyone help me? I have a 1998 Windstar with 94,000 miles and I get heat for a while and then it turns cold. Could that be just the the thermostat?

Hello

It doesn't sound like your thermostat. If the thermostat was bad you wouldn't get any heat. I'm thinking that the blend door has something wrong with it. I hope someone else can chime in on this one.

Open your hood and feel your heater hoses. If both of them are hot antifreeze is flowing through your heater core.

Regards
Dan
