reving

This is me reving up my car doesnt sound right and im not even pressing all the way on the gas pedal.... normal for a stock impala 3.8 2001

sounds like im pumping the gas but i have the pedal in the same place?

hmm, sounds like a foreign car hitting its rev limiter.

Do you have a impala? If yes does yours sound like this heres it in neutral before it was in park

doesnt sound right to me, sounds like a clog... i think my cat is bad because he hesitates and poor gas goes in tomarrow to get the cat looked at, would that cat cause this sound that it doesnt sound like a clear throttle?

Damn right i have an Impala. A beautiful 2001 white 9C1, and hearing your car rev like that must be terrible for you.

I can't really help you to diagnose this problem, im not too knowledable with these things. All i can suggest is getting your car into your friendly neighbourhood mechnic cause damn, that car sounds like its hurtin.

its going into tomarrow i just bought it oct 19 so its under warranty, do u see what i am talking about its not a clear throttle

oh definetly, theres gotta be somethin in there.

Did you but it brand new? Maybe some ass on the production line left a work glove in the cat! haha

its a 2001 3.8, i read that there is alot of clogged cats with the impala

it sounded to me like you were hitting the rev limiter...try driving like 10 mph and then putting it in Neutral and see if it still does that.
