Gas milage?

Hi. Here in Europe we got crazy gas price, so my question is how many miles (or how many liters per 100 kilometers which is more understandable to me) should I make with my 2001 3g, 2.4 l ? (I dont have user's manual and would be great if someone could tell me where I could download one). Thanx in advance!

Re: Gas milage?

Not sure about the 2.4 but I get around 300 miles to the tank on my GT (3.0 V6). I am sure with your car being a 4 cyclender that you should be getting better mileage that me.

Yeap lead foot syndrome is definetly not good for gas mileage. I get it from time to time as well

In the city?! No fucking way...an intake adds that much. Whats your MPG, like 28? In the city i usually average just short of 22mpg. The BEST that i have gotten on the highway was 35...and the werid thing was that we set the cruise on like 93mph. I dont understand it. But honestly...a CAI adds that much mpg?

my bad...i meant to put highway. i drive on the interstate 95% of the time. i don't really know what my city miles are.

However, before the intake, i was getting 300 miles per tank on the interstate with little city driving. now i get 380 miles per tank with little city driving.

Re: Gas milage?

i get close to 300mi/tank in the city, but i drive liberally, also a lightweight flywheel seems to help some too, i got 300 on the last tank and i was driving more than liberally
