93 5.8 check engine light

does anyone know how to jumper this, so i can read the codes, looking at a very high mileage van to purchase and the engine light is on, wnated to check the codes before i make an offer on the thing.

and what are the most common codes on 93 with 5.8

have problem with tps sensor need. replace sensor but van still runs bad
