1998 Transport front blower 1, 2 & 3 dont work
First time user. The 1, 2 & 3 settings for the front blower doesn't work. 4 & 5 are OK. From earlier postings it could be the low speed relay. How do you check relays?

Re: 1998 Transport front blower 1, 2 & 3 dont work
Best way is to exchange the position of similar relays. IN former years, the horn relay just beside the low speed relay were the same..I do not have exact configuration for '98. As suggested by Bluebird, check for the resistor pack. Lower speeds go through resistors as seen in this '93 diagram (with 4 speeds only: 3 through resistors, one full speed)
http://avigex.ca/xport/hvac_diagram_front.jpg and a blown resistor section can cut the path for several speeds. The resistor block connector is somewhere along the main duct with the resistors themselves protruding in the air flow.

check the Resister
Check the Resister for the fan speeds its probably burned out. Don't know where it is located on a transport
