What is Bit Torrant?
I want a new p2p that is ad/spyware free. what exactly is bit torrant? will I be able to download music? More info would be cool, thanks.

To use BitTorrent, you will need to download it and a BitTorrent client (such as BitComet). After installing both programs, you open the client program, locate the torrent that you want to download, and then start downloading. You can find torrents for almost everything, but BitTorrent is usually used for extremely large files, that are either too large for email, or that would costa site a lot of bandwidth. As with many other services it has been overrun with people using it illegally, either to transmit copyrighted content or using it transmit malware. It's a decent program, but the people using it illegally will probably ruin it for everyone. Why can't these people just pay for stuff like everyone else?
Your best source of information about downloading music would be google. The correct spelling is BitTorrent. While BitTorrent is legal, downloading music is not. I doubt that you will find many people willing to openly discuss downloading music on a website that would be obligated to disclose any information that they have about you (including ISP info), in the event of a copyright violation investigation.
