According to Veyron, the original F355 Challenge kit by Fujimi had the wrong rims and no roll cage. Caveat Emptor...

The old F355 challenge had the right wheels but in wrong scale size. It does have roll cage and OMP seats but both are from the old F348 challenge kit...

Anywayz, i knew this is going to happen sooner or later, and for those who has spend big $$ bidding on the old F355 challenge kit from Ebay, including myself , is sort of a bad news. I hope they would consider throwing in better wheels and roll cage for the reissue..

Re: Ferrari F355 reissue

didn't they do a new dash in the original re-release of the 355 berlinetta?
hopefully, they'll do the same for this kit too.

Re: Ferrari F355 reissue

Back when F355 kits were still in constant production, I bought the Challenge kit only to get the correct dash for my GTB. The 348 dash was only included in the early GTB kits, and everything else (GTS, Challenge and color variations) has the correct dash.

The wheels in the 355 Challenge kit sucks big time, and you'll definitely need a better set of wheels.

Good news, the original kit was too much $$.

Maybe just wishful thinking; I'd much rather see Tamiya update their Modena to a Challenge car and Fujimi to make Challenge versions of the F430. I'm kinda F355'd out; it's good to have 'em but they're pretty crude by today's standards.

Re: Ferrari F355 reissue

I agree with ZoomZoomMX-5 on the Challenge kits. I'm got a Tamiya 360 being converted to a Challenge car. I'll probably get it ready to finish and Tamiya will bring one out.

Ferrari F355 reissue

Has anybody a picture of the wheels from the challenge kit ?
I read that these wheels were "not to scale" but what are they looking like ?

What's with Fujimi's window boxes for the Ferrari models?
