Question Did anyone ever order parts from the US?

If you did, how long did it take for them to get here? Are they cheaper then what you pay here?

And another thing, what about payment methods. I don't have pay pal or Visa. Is there a possibility to pay?

Thanks

I have ordered loads of parts from the states to Ireland, same distance give or take a '000 miles.

Best compromise between cost and delivery time is USPS Air Mail. Stuff usually takes 2 weeks to arrive but package sizes are limited, for weights and sizes see www.usps.com.
FEDex and other courier services like that are usually faster but can cost three times as much. Also, I dont know what it is like in Belgium but stuff that comes into Ireland via USPS Air Mail rarely seems to get stopped by customs for duty or VAT, but other carriers packages always seem to get stoped. For really cheap shipping use USPS Surface mail, but this can take Month's to arrive, I have known some people to have to wait 12+ weeks for some things.

As for buying, you are best off with Paypal or VISA as your purchases are protected from fraud etc. It is possible to pay many places using bank fund transfers from Europe to America but they are very expensive.

Even after shipping charges I find that I can buy most things from the USA for less than half the price than I can buy them locally, but Ireland is expensive for everything.

I'm thinking of buying from the us too, I want to order an apexi universal muffler. Before I do that I first ask at the american section what shops they think are thrustworthy(?)
When you lived more close to me we could order it together , I've got Visa, so that's no problem.
