rear end

this has probably been asked a million times but i have a 92rs with the 305 tbi what rear end came in it??

It will work provided you have 3.23 or higher(numerically) gears. I see in your sig you want 3.73s... this would be a great time to get some installed.

dont know if that will fit in your rear because you ahve 2.73's...well atleast thats what my 91 rs 305tbi had.

The only difference between 3.23+ and 2.73s is the carrier(posi unit/differential innards). So if you were to buy 3.73 gears with that you would be fine. If anything the only thing you'd need would be maybe different bearings or something.

If you can, i suggest just getting a whole 4th gen rear altogether. You can get lucky and find one for cheap, that way in the end, you'll have the entire drivetrain from a 4th gen camaro. Easy to swap in too.
