Re: 95 blazer need help

Try removing your serpentine belt and spark plug. Then try to turn the engine by hand first. It sounds like something is stuck. If the motor turns freely. Then take a look at you’re a/C, Alternator, Power steering pump and Water pump to ensure that they to move freely. Try that and let us know what you find.

Is that with your belt on or off?

Re: 95 blazer need help

hate to throw this out there but have you checked your alternater,

when your lights go dim its telling you your starter is trying to draw power but for some reason you may not have enough.
and that click is your starter solenoid It sounds functional.

you said your on the 4th battery thats a symptom of a bad alternator.
if you got a bad alternator, and once you change it you can prolly get a jump start and your new alternator will charge the drained battery.

but make sure your battery is out of juice.
it might be a loose wire somewhere.

just to make sure, you can test your alternator at most autoparts stores.
you can test starters there to

good luck!
