Just got my first Honda (97 Civiclx)
I just bought my first Honda a 97 Civic lx with 66K mile. Should I have a Dealer do my first maintaince service or go to my trusted mechanic?
I got it from private party who didn't do service maintainance on the car, nevertheless it's excellent condition. Also the SRS light is on.

maintenence service can be done by yourself. if your going to pay someone to do it, find the best deal.

the SRS light in my Civic was on when i bought it too....idk what the hell the deal is w/ those cars! But anyway, congrats....i loved my Civic when i had it.....it was a good car, but just not fast enough. I had a 97 EX coupe. Hope you enjoy it!

i have a 97' civic lx i got not too long ago, it's served me nicely so far, gas is amazing from my last lol
