Re: Chips

hptuners has one being underdeveloped for the time being, but none are out yet for the j-body. there are other types of progrmamers i believe, correct me if im wrong, are the Apexi SAFC and the Greddy e-manage. DO NOT buy the ebay 'resistors' or the venom module, they're really a waste of money, so stay away from them at all costs. hope this helps you.
correction note: there are chips, but only for the 2nd gen j-bodies.

Re: Chips

I dont know much about ECU's and what ever, but I dont think that emanage and SAFC will work on our cars. Either way, the only time you would need a piggyback or stand alone system would be when you are running boost. You cant just get a "chip" that will automatically give you hp.

What about the jet power control unit? http://www.jetchip.com/products.asp?...&model=434#434

Anyone have any input on whether I should get that or not?

Those stickies at the top of the forums are really helpful and will more than likely answer a lot of your basic questions about to to make your car faster and lowering and body parts as well.

Jayson you're smart no matter what we all say about ya. Hah! I'm just messin around. GL ejrbud8115 on finding what ya need. Most of us on here are willing to help. Then some of the time we make people feel like shit and make fun of them as well.

Re: Chips

emange and the apexi SAFC will work on any car, but on a NA motor there not much help, and not at all for a stock motor.
