vacuum leak

Do vacuum leaks cause a whistling sound? Somethin is making a loud, resonating whistling sound and i cannot pinpoint it and it is NOT my intake. wtf its driving me nuts.

a loud whistling, most likely not. to make sure its not vacuum and to be precise, rent a vacuum gauge from your local parts store.
