Rear drum to disc conversion
I have a 95 Jimmy 2dr with the off road package 3.73 gear and g80 posi. I found a wrecked 2000 Blazer with rear disc brakes. What parts would i need to strip off the blazer to convert mine to rear disc. I want to keep my current rear (not the non-posi 3.42 rear that is on the wrecked blazer).

if the center diameter are the same on the axle i think all you will need is the rotor, caliper, caliper mounting bracket, flex lines, flex line mounts.... think strip down to axle.... make sure you mark or seperate left from right when getting your parts off the old.... also check the ebrake cable as it may be different... thats all i can think of, been awhile since i did one of these and it wasnt on a jimmy... im sure now that there is one post the others will jump in and give more info.

would i need to change my master cylinder or proportioning valve or will they work as is? any changes to the abs unit (3-channel 4-wheel)

You just need the rear, and e-brake system..(rear includes all the brake stuff) It's a direct bolt on. No need to change the proportioning valve. The issue will be if the gearing is different than your existing one, the second you activate 4wd you'll blow the transmission and/or the transfercase and/or the front diff. Your rear gears need to match your front.
