Re: Corrado, Which side drive?

There were many Corrados built for German, U.S., and Canadian markets - as such, there are many left-hand drive models available (just to clarify - left-hand drive means you sit on the left side of the car and shift with your right hand).

Here in the U.S. the earlier Corrados came with only the G60 (8 valve, 1800cc, supercharged, Digifant I management system - think of it as bigger brother to the G40 engine used in some Polos) engine. Several years into the production run, they offered the 12 valve 2800cc VR6 engine. These are often seen badged as "SLC" models - however, I am unsure whether all VR6 Raddos were SLCs (I do know, though, that all SLCs are VR6s).

I hear that in most (or maybe all?) of Europe the Corrado was offered with the 2000cc 16 valve (normally aspirated) as the base engine.
