any of you blokes played around with one of these things??
are they accurate? (neglecting reaction times). i was having a go with some friends last night, i thought that the results may have been a little optimistic. |

As far as I know, they are accurate to within .1 seconds on 0-100 and 1/4 times.

If you know the exact weight of your car, and I mean exact weight with out and petrol in it then they can be quite accurate.
The problem is not enough ppl enter the correct weight, or set them up, or mount them properly, and they can lead to some very optimistic times.

i had another go of it tonight and i got roughly the same numbers.
0-100km/h low 7's. 7.1-7.3 bracket. 0-400m mid 15's. 15.3-15.5 didn't test braking... i did 4 runs, they were all about the same. my friends 4age sprinter was getting 10's and 17's. civic vti-r was high 7's and low 16's. |

Well that's weird as those are the factory figures Honda gave out on the EF SiR (0-100km/h low 7's. 7.1-7.3 bracket. 0-400m mid 15's. 15.3-15.5).
I would have thought marginally better for a B18 powered car.

no way... vti-r's are not quick cars.
hehe sir's weigh in at like 3 kg's so they can get around with the bugger all power that the b16 makes ![]() okay setanta. now it is a 3 way drag. civic vs integra vs integra. |
