Unhappy TOD causes odd noise. Any advice?

After turning on my TOD, I get a strange loud whining noise from around the right tire/axel area. Especially when coasting w/o trottle. I sounds kind of like gears running hard w/o oil. TOD oil and front transfer case fluids change 10-15K ago. It doesn't really do it without the TOD on, but it does seem to have a little more vibration in the front end, mostly under medium excelleration. I really don't have a clue, but I would have to guess CV joint or possible wheel bearings? Transfer case would probably be a suspect also. I'm going to have new fluids changed today just to make sure. Is there a way to check CV boots for proper grease? Any and all ideas welcome!

Thanks, Mike
