Exclamation lack of grip

i recently bought a secondhand 306 1.8 xs and im worried about the the lack of grip i was goin round a round about about 10mph and the back end slid out, fort this could of been down to the rain or if there was oil on the roundabout but half an hour later is happened again going through a s bend at about 30
if any one has had this problem or similar could you please write back and say what it could and how i can resolve it thanks

Mike

Re: lack of grip

The 306 as all peugeot suffers from left off oversteer if you are cornering hard and lift off the throtle then the back will let go and slide but at thoses speeds it is unlikly. if i was you i'd check the tyres first though.

Re: lack of grip

I think you might have found your problem. if your tyres are flat you'll have hardly any grip especially in the wet
