Great photos...

I guess there are only two possibilities for M66 MCL now. We have a handle on #10R, #11R, #12R, #13R, #16R, #17R, #18R for the most part. GTR #14R and GTR #15R are the two '96 GTR chassis that are basically unaccounted for.

I've seen photo evidence that suggests the 2 '96 Gulf GTRs are still out there wearing Blue/Orange, which would tend to eliminate #15R from the running here.

We know that #14R had a bad crash in 1996 in the Japan GT series, but McLaren's are extremely valuable, so they are worth putting back together in all but the most extreme cases. I wonder if this Papaya GTR could be #14R afterall. Hmmm...

And to add a bit of twist to my theories, I wonder if these two cars could belong to the Ojjehs? It certainly makes sense that they would be in Monaco on a race weekend which is where/when these shots were reportedly taken.

I've heard somone elses name relating to these cars. I cannot reveal who but if my source is right, its not the Ojjeh's. Does anyone know how many cars the Ojjeh's had/have? We know 011 and the orange car (can't remember chassis #, i'm at school). Can anyone confirm if they bought any others?

Wow! I've never even seen that car before that I know of. That color is awesome!!

If the paint is original, these would be my two guesses:

046 1995, 39th car built, Genesis Blue Metallic

048 1996, 44th car built, Brilliant Metallic Blue

And I'm leaning more towards 048 in this case.

There's also this chassis:

036 1995, 30th car built, Pale Blue Metallic

...but I suspect that is more than likely the car on the right in this shot:

Peloton,
I was thinking it's more likely to be the car that TVRfreak saw at the factory, before it had the HDF kit put on. Couldn't that be another possibility?

That was chassis #011, and this is a shot of it prior to the blue respray:

http://www.centralcoastweb.com/nsxb/...ren/img174.JPG

One unique feature of #011's HDF Kit was the silver "F1" logo on the wing end plate which can also be seen in that shot.

There were some other photos taken showing #011 in it's carbon paint and HDF Kit together with chassis #073. I don't have them handy, but there were just one or two that made it here.

Oh man, 011 looks so plain in that shot, at least in comparison to the blue colour it eventually got. I wonder if this car was the inspiration. It looks like the same mid blue on a silver base. Just lovely.

Thanks for the info.

I had read that the inspiration for that color had come from the face of this watch, but maybe the same is true for both as the colors are rather similar.

Sorry for the crappy Ebay photos.

#073 is the one you can't remember. #075 went to Aziz.

Remember too, that the new owner of #068 told me that Mansour said he has 3 now. Which 3 I do not know, but I'd consider him a credible source.

Re: Some nice pictures from Supercarfrance.com

Hurstg01, thanks for linking us those pictures, especially the one of the blue F1. Quite like the colour of it too! Looks really sharp that way.

Pretty cool we have some graphics on an unknown F1. Now all we need to find out is where it has been these past few years

And if Mansour has those 3....Imagine....you walk into the kitchen in the morning, pour yourself a cuppa and open the door towards the garage. There they are, your three F1's, standing together, making for a surreal picture in your own garage. You smile, take another zip and go and fetch the newspaper. Enough F1 for today.....

ARRGGHH, why don't we see more of these beauties? I really cannot believe it.

Wow, that GTR looks a hell of a lot like an LM. The low front scoops even match. The only thing that really gives it away is the arrangement of the nose intake, and perhaps the bottom edge of the sides.

And that blue F1 shot is INCREDIBLE! The color is gorgeous. That might be my new favorite F1 color. Very good find.

Re: Re: Some nice pictures from Supercarfrance.com

A few other details seen in those photos exclude it from being an LM. There is a small vent on the left side compartment door which wouldn't be there if it was an LM. The side skirts are incorrect for an LM. The LMs have a skirt that runs from front to back and hangs down flush from the bodywork. This car has the half-skirt with what I call 'wings' extending from the sides. It also has the tiny rear wheel arch extensions which wouldn't be seen on an LM. The driver's seat is also wrong for an LM. We've seen photos of this car before which clearly showed the GTR badge on the back, but you can't see that in these shots.

Just to clarify - I wasn't suggesting that this new blue car was Mansour's. I was only referring to that possibility on the first two cars - R66 MCL and M66 MCL. I was told he has 3 though, but which 3 exactly remains a mystery for now.

WAIT! You said you had 2 pics of 011 and 075 together before its repaint. Do you mean 073? The pic of 2 cars, both with HD kits?
