shock noise

Every time i go over a speed bump the back two wheels make a noise. It sounds like a long sqeek that lasts alittle bit after i get off the bump. Could this be the shocks?
What can i do about it? It makes the car sound old

Re: shock noise

First of all I was so surprised to see that noone even bothered to answer this tread????????????????

What is wrong with you all? You spend so much time answering same old ass crapy retarted questions that even forgot to reply to this one?

the forum is not what it used to be.

Answer: it might not be the shocks, in fact in can be any other bushing thats old and needs to be replaced, the best is to go to a shop and jack the car up and see whats going on. Its free.

Re: shock noise

someone needs a nap.

seriously, the first thing I do is look at the posts that 0 replies to them. Frankly, it is a little vauge and could be a multitude of things. To that effect, I didn't bother with it because instead of 20 posts recommending different parts to shotgun, waste time and money, why not get the one poster come along who relates to his description.

One person's squeak is another one rubbing ya know what I mean?

Additionally, one thing I've always taken note is that for every 1 reply there is 10 views on average.

Re: shock noise

my(future) brother in law drives a 98 z28 and his rear suspension squeaks a bit. But its got kyb's on it and eibach springs. I think its some bushings that were supposed to get greased but didnt get it. I would just take a long sit under the but of your car and check every bushing under there and also look for anything that could move around or is loose.
