OZ Lancer Intake/Exaust Advice

Hey Ive got a 2003 OZ Rally Edition Lancer. its automatic and i'd like to help it look a little better including minor performance. i know automatic isnt as great as stick but i got the car for a price that makes it all worth wile. the thing is, im looking at puttin a new exhaust and/or intake and im not to sure if it wuld be okay for the ride to handle. ive been looking at cheap $$ exausts n intakes on Ebay, but i have no clu if there actually worth spending money on. if anyone can help me out, plz let me kno if i shuld first off put in these add-ons ... and if the ones on ebay r a scam or not. Thanx

Re: OZ Lancer Intake/Exaust Advice

cheap intakes are fine but cheap exhausts rust and sound shitty. I recommend the exhaust from Road Race Motorsports.

yes, the car can "handle" it

ive found a couple exhausts on the roadracemotorsports. my question is wat is the difference between the "cat" or catback exhaust compared to a non cat back exhaust. ive noticed that the catback models are more expensive then the normal ones, however im trying to understand wat the difference will be. im not looking for any racing or top-of-the-line exhaust i just need a nice lookin and sounding one. which one is worth purchasing?

Re: OZ Lancer Intake/Exaust Advice

the catback exhaust replaces all the pipe and the other one only replaces the rear section. For your purposes the rear section exhaust is probably fine.

Re: OZ Lancer Intake/Exaust Advice

the word "Catback" actually stands for the catalytic converter all the way to the back of the car. Where as the other one is usually just the muffler and tip.
