Carrera GT 1:24

New to the forum. Have been looking around here for a little while, man there is some real talent out there. Been building models for about 5 years or so, mostly sports and super cars. Pretty much all Tamiya with some others here and there. Look forward to trading pics and ideas with everyone

Here are some shots of my latest project.

Good looking build! Nice to see a factory stock Carrera GT around here in a factory stock color. Makes it very unique!

Welcome to AF!

Yes it looks very good! To be fair only half the wheel nuts are the wrong colour.

Looks good, nice finish, but the molds lines should be sanded away.

Re: Carrera GT 1:24

Well, that looks good it's a shame though that you didn't sand away the moldlines.
Super paint job, smooth and nice.
Funny to see both you and I post the same object with only one day apart.
Keep it up and remember the moldlines on your next build.

nicely done. They are mold lines, but heck it's still a good looking build. Sweet paintjob, and I think if you had done a panel line wash it would have looked more realistic.. But it's still a very sweet build. I love this car, still got mine to build yet..

I want to go and dig mine out and start right now..!!

Re: Carrera GT 1:24

Good job: it's appear you hadn't polish silver: otherwise we should see blank plastic on moulds (or you clearcoted and polished all over?)
Would you like to share some photografic stuff? What kind of light do you still using? looks good
