SLP or Magnaflow?
I have a 2003 Mustang GT (5sp), and I want to replace the stock exhaust. I either want to so with the SLP Loudmouth or the Maganaflow w/Magnapacks. Does anybody know which one is the one to go with. I want a good loud rumble on acceleration, but not too much drone while cruising.
I've heard clips of both on the internet, but I know that's not the same as hearing it in person. Has anybody heard either of these, or does anybody know which one is the best quality? The SLP is about $50 cheaper on mustangtuning.com, but I'd pay the extra money if the Magnaflow is better. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks! |

Thanks for the tip, but those are a little too pricey for me, I'm a broke college kid. I'm trying to keep it under $500, so it's between SLP, Magnaflow, and Flowmaster. I have Flowmaster on my 1965 Mustang GT, it sounds good, but it's kind of noisy when your cruising, so I don't want that. I've heard SLP and Magnaflow are both good, so I think I want to pick between those two. So if anybody knows anything about those two, let me know!
Thanks |

Re: SLP or Magnaflow?
For modulars, SLP is from what i hear. The loudest exhaust system by far....Magnaflow or Bassani i think would be a better choice. I would go with Bassani BX composite line. Which they came out with just for those of us in need of a little price reduction
or on a budget ppl like me...and you.
