Rims/tire sizing

Ok so i got my 240 and im looking to buy some rims. For the rims, id like to know how this fitment will be....

Front 17X7 Offset +38
Back 17X9 Offset +35

or

Front 18X8.5 Offset +35
Back 18X9.5 Offset +35

Im pretty sure im going to go with teh first option, but im also very confused about how to pick a tire for these rims. Im not exactly sure how much tires are, and i want to get the right ones. (RW is gonna be helpful in this thread , please just go easy on me).

Re: Rims/tire sizing

If you are really conservitive (no work)
17x8 +20 Front 225/45
17x9 +30 Rear 245/40

To have something worth mentioning on the mod list (Fender roll + Camber)
17x9 +22 Front 235/40
17x9 +22 Rear 235/40

To be cool (camber and slight pull needed)
17x9 +10 Front 215/40
18x9.5 +12 Rear 235/40

With front Overfenders / Pulled Rear
17x9.5 +0 Front 245/40
18x10.5 R +25 265/40

For the Track looks just use a wider tire, for baller status low just use a narrower tire (except on the cool option... its all set for the lowness)

i personally wouldnt go with a 2 inch diffrence in stagger. will cause understeer like a mofo. the second setup up would be alot nicer (even if it was in 17's) the wheels setup of course will fit, but i personally would look for around a +25 offset front and rear. tires for this setup will be around $600 for new..

Re: Rims/tire sizing

600$ for all of them? if you had said that to begin with you would have saved me the trouble of listing offsets. 600$ gets you Honda wheels, unless you want to rock circle track steelies...

I think I'll just take my leave from this thread now.

Re: Rims/tire sizing

well, i would like to buy some nice rims, but i cant really afford that now. Plus im gonna have to buy tires also.. I was looking at buying these maybe because they are cheap and could probably get me by untill i can save up for some nice offset rims.

http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=143641

What should i do? Im only 16 and just spend alot of cash buying the car so i dont want to spend another 1500$ on rims and tires...

Re: Rims/tire sizing

well i just want something different then stock steelies with hubcaps, and im not going no hubcap ricer style. Im probably just gonna buy those cheap enkeis off that guy for 200 or so, plus like 80 shipping. We agreed'd on 300$ shipped for all the rims and two tires. Thats alot cheaper than i could find alloys shipped for...

Did the Kouki even come in 4-Lug?

Don't waste your time with bullshit 600$ POS rims, just keep saving and you'll be able to get FN01Rs from SPL for just under 1000$
