Springs and Shocks help!

OK guys, i have a 99 mustang V6, planning on swapping engine or supercharging in the near future. Dunno if this matters but i have 17 inch Cobra R rims 9" in front and 10.5" in the back. I have been researching, and found Competition Mustang Steeda Springs and Bilstein Shock & Strut Package. Has anyone had any experience with these? Do they perform well? And will it work well with my future modifications. Thanks

Re: Springs and Shocks help!

Steeda springs are good but don’t expect much of a drop. Bilsteins are some of the best shocks you can find. H&R race springs are great and will work with any of your future mods. Their spring rate is comparable to the Cobra R so if you went to a 5.4 you wouldn't have to worry about swapping them out.

Bilstein definitly (although Steeda is alright with springs). If you wanted to get springs that have a good cost to value ratio, you should buy Skunk springs.
