Just call/email S.T. and they can send/tell you exactly how it goes.

Re: Re: Suspension Techniques rear swaybar quiestion
Relax, some one will get to your post . . . . .
You want each end to be the same length, here is a pic of mine which is on the stiffest setting(pic was taken while the car was in the air, so the angles will be different with weight on tires). It's next to impossible to connect the sway bar to the control arm with no weight on the rear tires. Here's what I used to at the track lift the rear of the car and set it on car ramps so there is weight on the rear tires. you could also crawl under the car while it's on the ground but that's a pain. If you still need the instruction I could scan them after work tomorrow. |

Re: Suspension Techniques rear swaybar quiestion
ya can you please scan them....do also do I adjust the swaybar after i decided where i want my ride height to be with the new tein ss's?...I had this bar on forever and couldnt remember the whole process being this only one I ever put on...I just hate thieves...but then again I am glad they lefted the sway bars...lol....one of the few things they didnt take....but ya didnt mean to bump thread twice must of had a glitch or something....

Re: Re: Suspension Techniques rear swaybar quiestion
Once you have the end links equal they shouldn't have to be touched unless your changing the ride height a couple of inches. We were way too busy today so I'll scan them tomorrow.

The angle should be pretty much level with the ground. The angle of the bar doesn't determine oversteer or understeer, it's the length & placement of endlinks. Shorter the end links means more oversteer which front wheel drive cars are in desperate need of. Longer endlinks mean more understeer which defeats the purpose of an upgraded rear sway. Shortening the endlinks & using the holes closest to the bar will increase the most oversteer.
Angle with car on ground ![]() Here are the instructions which are terrible quality so I had to adjust them accordingly. ![]()
