I talked a little about it in other threads but I want to know if anyone out there actualy has a 4.3 with a lift if so how high??? I know there are some limits for sure, I just want to know where there at.

The only advice I could give would be not to lift it. I'm assuming if it's a 4.3 then it's 2WD? Lifting a 2WD is kinda pointless but that's just my opinion.

Yeah, don't be one of those guys... Lifting a 2wd is as bad as the ground scraping z71 with the 22's we talked about in the other thread. What would you gain, worse MPG?

Icktually, I have entertained the idea of doing a 3/2 lift on my 2wd, just to get that ridiculously low front bumper a little more ground clearance, and to level the truck some more. I know there are kits out there. Of course I'd like to go the full blown pre-runner look too!

funny you say that around where I live lifting a 2wheel drive truck is common I guess Im better off with something else I dont like drops but I do like rims maybe a second 4x4 truck is an order down the road(long ways!!) and ill just have mine for a street truck by the way do bigger rims hurt gas mileage???
