Question on 05 rims
I really like the new 05 Rims they kind of look like perpellar on a plane. How much would they be if I want to buy them stand alone to put on my 03 Denali? Also do they ride any smoother then the "01-04" Stock Denali Rims? Just toying with the idea.

I always thought rims rode better with rubber on them.
I prefer Michelin for a smoother ride. Are you talking the 20" rims ? I don't really like the ride on the shorter tires myself. The 17" are fine with me. With a nice 70 or 75 sidewall height as opposed to the 45,50,55's. Van Chevrolet out of Carrollton, Tx has a few spots on e-Bay selling several different styles of the 20" GM rims + 275x50x20 Goodyear Eagles for $2150.+ free shipping. You won't beat that price I don't believe. Includes lugnuts and covers except the center caps. Last edited by YukonGMC; 11-09-2005 at 07:45 AM. |

Re: Question on 05 rims
Jack: The option for those rims are about $3,000. I put 20's on my 01' for half that price. You could find the same rim cheaper. The ride isn't bad, but deffinately not as good as factory.

Re: Question on 05 rims
And depending on your rim style tastes, you could get a set of 22" wheels/tires for just a wee bit more than the $2150 for the OEM 20" set. But if you had you heart set on those, then I reckon that that might be a decent price for them, although that is a bit more than most would pay for aftermarket 20" wheels/tires.
