Help boost

Hi, i got a r33 gtst
I had trouble with the boost. Everything is running good wen i just start the car. but after i step on it, everything seems to go wrong. i don't seem to hear in anymore sucking in noises by the airfilter, and blow off by the blow off valve. There doesn't seem as much power and it is not reachin high boost. i was wondering if this could be the turbo or the blow off valve leaking.

Re: Help boost

Do you guys have any boost?

If no boost at all, I would say your turbo bought the farm.

Re: Re: Help boost

I can hear the turbo turning, it's producing roughly 6 lbs of boost. First gear is very stong but it dies out after 1st. I don't think the turbo is messed up. You can hear the turbo sucking air or the sound I'm hearing might be the blow off valve hanging up. I have tied the waist gate back and I still have no control over boost. You can get up to about 45 - 50 mph and floor it and I can hear the turbo making a loud blowing sound. My boost stays at 6 lbs and it doesn't seem to want to go. The compression in the engine is good and the turbo is good. I'm thinking it might be timing or my blow valve is sticking. Any ideas?
Thanks, Paul

Re: Help boost

If your seeing boost, the pressure is there for the intake charge, meaning at least the BOV is holding to that point. So, I am not sure if that is your problem?
