Engine gasket question

We all know that some of GM's engines suffer gasket failure problem.
Is there anybody can foresee the new 3.9L engine's gaskets are stronger? Or the common problems are fixed?

I believe the intake gasket problem on GM 3.x engines was from 97-03. There is new gasket available for those and I haven't heard of any failures when new part was used
