Re: Dash board lights

Havnt seen it but I would think its either reverse glow guage face or black face. You can pick them up on most tuner sites as well as ebay.

Yoiu can however change out your bulbs to another color but In order to get back in there you need to take the whole damn dash apart.

So frankly about the only time I will ever do that is when I have a few projects to do at once that require me to take off my dash such as my custom guages, c/f guage trim and painting my interior.

Auto Zone had em i think 3 or 4 bucks a piece.

On my car there where some screwes and my gauage cluster came out. yours is newer never taken one of them apart.

All you have to do is drop the new lights right into the back of the board. thats all i had to do on mine.

On my 01 Z24 I cant change the bulbs.. they look welded on the damn thing.... but i guess you could rip them off and weld new ones there.. i thought about trying to find some gel covers or maybe use theatre lighting gel paper.

Re: Dash board lights

Don't you have to take apart the dash to install the reverse glow cover anyways? or do you just slip it right on top of the glass or something?

No you have to slide it over the needles. Yes you have to take the clear plastic peice off to do this, and if you go that far may as well go the extra step to put the led's in to change the color.
