Borla vs. Hotshot

Hey everyone, i was just wondering what people thought of each of these exhausts, and if there were any numbers out there. Also sound etc is a factor. Just seeing what people like.

Re: Borla vs. Hotshot

Borla does make a universal catback for the car, just needs a little shifting around.

Re: Borla vs. Hotshot

i realize we are talking about cat backs, but does anyone knoe how to move the cat under the car so i can make some room with a 4 2 1 header, and now screw with the o2 sensors. and if you ask me ild go to a custom muffler shop (or call) those guys are pros and can ussually tell you what will go best. thats what my uncle did with his dodge and it has one heck of an exhaust. but if it were me it would be a 3r racing, i had one on a 90 laser, man with the 1.8 and low to mid range rpm were good, ( with the muffler and tip package mind you) but you get it into the higher rpm and it got to be a angry little bumble bee. you can also try resonators to try to lower the tone too

Re: Borla vs. Hotshot

Pasicly just unplug the sensor and unbolt the Cat....since you got the 4-2-1 from Zxtuner(only place that makes a 4-2-1 for the zx2) you can probably email Rob (store owner) and he might be able to give you directions.
