SCCA Acura RSX *WIP*

Thia is something a bit out of the ordinary for me as I don't do very many motorsport projects. I recently fell in love with the SCCA touring cars though, and being a Honda/Acura guy it was only natural that I take on this project. I am going to do my best at replicating the team Realtime RSX. This is going to be as detailed a project as I can possibly make it as I have a lot of good refferance photos for it. Not too much has been done so far but here are some pics, along with a couple of the real car...................*Ryan*

good choice: beautiful livery with that super bright red: be careful with rims: real rounded stuff give the car too malice(one for each rim)

Sweet! This is a project that has been sitting on the shelf in my head for a long time - it'd be a definite go if there were TSX models to go with it. What are you going to do for decals? And lastly, if you can get your hands on one of the old Super Taikyu Integra racecars, you'll have an excellent start on the interior. Good luck and don't give up on this, or I'll probably be sadder than you!

LOL don't worry will I won't be giving up on this one. It may take me a long while to get it completed with all the work that will be involved, but deffinately won't give up on it. As for the decals I am going to make them up myself in photoshop CS and then print them onto decal paper. I'll see how they turn out and then if you or anyone else wants a set i'll be happy to help.............*Ryan*

YOU STOLE MY IDEA

I've been planning on building a Realtime Acura for a couple year now, i've just been too lazy to start it, maybe yours will be inspiration for me to build mine. I'm planning on using the older Revell Integra instead of the newer RSX

well shoot man get her going. I would love to see one of the older integra realtime cars. I would love to do one of the new TSX but to my knowledge there are none of those in scale. Anyway I will have some updates on this one tommorow. I have started on completely gutting the interior so I will post some pics tommorow. Thanks for all the encouragement guys............*Ryan*

But one thing that i noticed, to me...the fujimi rpf-1 rims looked small on the rsx body when i did it, but thas my opinion. g'luck

Ok here is a little bit of progress on this one. I have started gutting the interior. I've cut out both door panels, cut the headrests from the backseat and also cut the center consol to match this picture of the interior



As you can see the center console cuts off at the front of the shifter.




I have also completed opening up the front fascia to match the 1:1 car



Anyway thats all the updates that I have for right now. I hope you guys like it so far.............*Ryan*
