Clicking Sound from passenger side engine bay...

Ive got a 2000 GT 5 speed with about 95k. It has been riding pretty rough for the past couple months and I have been needing to get a new suspension. I took it in to the shop to get looked at, and I asked him about suspension wear, he said it was all fine. Its getting cold out, and now I am hearing a pretty loud clicking from the passenger side engine bay when i accell and coast in gear. Out of gear everything is fine, and when i am maintaining speed in gear its fine. It is just comming from the front right, and I dont know if its a suspension or a drivetrain issue. Just curious what you guys think, and if anyone else has had similar problems.

Im thinking it might be CV joints, but not sure. Everything still performs the same, but its just getting chaotic.

Does it make the sound when you are stopped and the clutch is depressed. If so, does pressing in the clutch make it stop

When i am stopped, everything is fine. Only when press on the gas in gear, or coast in gear. When the clutch is in everything is usually fine. I hear it a little when i go over bumps. The car doesnt shake or anything, and like i said, everything works normal...it just does not sound right at all.

Re: Clicking Sound from passenger side engine bay...

that is very strange, but it eliminates the possibility of TOB rattle , maybe have the axles and trans checked out and check the fluid too

Well I found out what the noise was. It's my motor mount by the passenger wheel well. I think when it got cold out the rubber bushing shrank a little, and now it wiggles around when the motor torques. Question, do the upgraded motor mount kits include all motor mounts, or just the front? Because Im going to have my mechanic install them when i get them because i hear some are a pain in the ass to get to.
