oil cap gasket
I went to satan dealer today( 45min drive ), and trying to order a oil cap gasket, they told me that, they dont sell the gasket, only the whole cap. ( well I dont want wast my time to go back there. So I buy 10 oil filter ( see you in 2 year satan (
 ) But I read in vfaqsOil cap - the stock oil cap gasket often hardens to a plastic consistency, causing the cap to leak. You can order a new gasket only, you don't need to order a new cap. The part # for the gasket is MD311638. Note that if your old gasket is still in one piece, adding the new soft rubber gasket on top of the old hardened one makes the cap seal to the valvecover better. is that part # work on my 97rs 420a engine ?? thanks. If it work I just call them and tell them ship to me .
