programming the lights
Hey all, I swear when I bought my 01, that the keyless remote lock/unlock buttons would flash the parking lights on the car. I had to disconnect the battery overnight to reset my computer, and no more flashing lights. I looked in the owners manual, and there's nothing about reprogramming them or anything about the lights for that matter. Is there a way to get this back? Right now it just turns on or off the dome light in the car, but does not flash the lights. It'd be helpful in a dark parking lot to find the car. This i the factory keyless remote system by the way.

Re: programming the lights
I don't know of an option to change the lights coming on or off yourself.

Theres gotta be a way. On my 99 Pontiac Montana, you can fully configure what happens when you use the keyless entry, but the processes are somewhat involved and kryptic. I just assumed the taurus was the same way, just needed to be reprogrammed. |
