799hp 3000gt

I was talking to someone and it came up on the Team 3s site that one of the tuners got his car up to 799hp (VR4).

I've been attempting to find this site (tuning shop) for a month now and I've officially given up.

Does anyone have the link to this website. I heard it was black background with the alleged car on the front page with the 799hp title above it.

Apparantely it isn't easy to miss... so obviously I'm oblivious!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: 799hp 3000gt

Alot of the stuff on Team 3s is pretty old. Now Ray Pampena has dynoed 833 AWHP just recently in his built to the hilt vr4. Pampena Motorsports is his shop I beleive.

That is the one I'm guessing you are thinking about as well. But just by any off-chance you are talking about Nelson's vr4 that is driven by Matt from DR, here is the link to that.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Damn. That video with the 3s dyno-ing in at 600hp(on pump gas) is sexy.

lol, any car dynoing at 600hp for me is awesome.

Just imagine, more power than a Murcielago and street driven with half the cylinders and a nice rich BOV sound.

Very intimidating.
