Legacy power windows

I have a 94 Legacy Wagon with non-functioning power windows. Haynes says the circuit is protected by a 10 or 15 amp fuse and a circuit breaker. Guess what I can't find anywhere. I physically checked all fuses inside the car and under the hood, even though none are labeled "power windows", and they're all good. Can't see a breaker of any kind. Have replaced the master switch panel in the driver's door. Nothing. Now guess what the Subaru mechanic I talked to at the dealer couldn't locate for me either. Ideas?

I'm almost positive that the window fuse is piggy-backed onto the fuse for another function.on a different note,its highly unlikly but (I'll type it anyways) the rocker switches on the doors go bad pretty quick,I had to repair one of mine a few weeks ago. I have the same model only mines a 93,and i read somewhere in the manual that there is another fuse box hiding in the back uner the speaker mounts.
just a few ideas,GOOD LUCK keep me posted,little stuff like that just anoys th' crap out of me }8>)}

Thanks. This annoys me too. It's unbelievable that not even a "qualified" mechanic has this information. I'll go digging in the back for the hidden fuse box. I hope it's there. I know, also, that some of these cars can break wires in the space between the driver's door and frame. Had that happen on a junky old Loyale once. That one was decent enough to catch fire so I could see where the problem was.
Next step, I guess, would be to get a schematic and a meter. I hate electrical problems.
I'll let you know how it turns out.
