co2 to high at raised idle. test was to be run at 3000 rpm and should have been no more than 0.30 co2, reading was 0.50

Put four bottles of "HEET" in about 10 gal of gas before it is tested. On a non-modified engine in good tune, all you need is HEET!

Re: 91 PA failed emissions

Yea, back during the "gasser wars", before money could buy horsepower, we had to improvise, adapt and overcome! Ever try Toluene with H&H?
Former G/G F/G E/G Corvette, NHRA Division 1 "Busters Rebels".
Retired, but can still involved with Pro Mod 38 Chevy, Blown-Alcohol, 4.18 1/8th @ 189
I will be involved till the grave digger comes looking for me!!

Re: 91 PA failed emissions

Sorry, I meant to say Division II (Southeast)

The Plymouth guys down here were Bagwell, Barnett, Kinnett & Whisnet, to name a few. I had a shop with several Hemi SSA/A cars scattered around the building. I love those as well; however I stuck with the small & big block Chevy's. When I get the urge to feel the power again, (nice days only) I knock the cobwebs off of my Z28 & take it up to Atlanta Raceway for a few blast down the track. Still use some Toluene and timing retard to ward off detonation when I hit the juice. Day to day, I am satisfied with a Park Avenue Ultra with a 2.2 in. blower pulley. (Soft ride & 0 to 60 in 4.8)

I wonder if Volkerc has passed emissions yet?
