I prefer Flowmasters to Magnaflow but I like my car loud(no it does not sound ricey). It has a very intimidating sound at low RPMs but don't plan on sneaking off somewhere with some Flows on your car.
Flowmasters sound awesome at low RPMs but they get very loud and sometimes annoying at higher RPMs. They can also be a little bit Raspy. Magnaflows(my friend has them on his V6 Mustang) have a very nice Idle sound and defenitely shows your presence at low RPMs. From what I've seen(never seen Magnaflows on an F-body): Flowmasters=Loud sounding Magnaflow=Nice and Mellow sounding Choose whichever is your preference. P.S. Don't keep the stock exhuast on your V6...I couldn't even hear my exhuast when I got my 98' Bird. |

Re: Exhaust for a v6
Flowmasters don't flow as well as most other exhaust set-ups.
I will NEVER have Flowmasters on my car. I am not one to sacrifice any power.
