82' 2.8 Dies every so often

For some backround i just got this car 2 days ago, The guy that sold it to me got it from the original owner 2 weeks ago for a project for his son. They replaced the front suspension and brakes lines and deided it was takeing up space and sold it to me for 375.00, I drove it home and had no problems until about 15 miles down the road and came to a stop and the engine died and refused to start sop i had it towed home. And soon as the truck leaves i turn the key and it fires right up. Then today i took it out for a drive and i was in a parking lot haveing some fun and i came out of a fish tail and it died and would'nt start for a few minutes. I'm not sure what is causeing this or if its just due to the fact that it sat for 2 years. Anyone have any ideas?

Damn, 82, v6.. Anyway, aside from that, yeah since its been sitting for 2 years, probably should do a complete tune up, it should run pretty good after that.
