whats up peps i was wondering if there was an EVO that had 400 hp???? i heard there was. I thought it was the MR but i went to mistsubishimotors.com and it said it had 286... if there is a 400 hp one can sumone tell me where i can check it out at and also if they sell them here. It would really help . Thanks

It was the Evo FQ400, only a few hundred were built, I don't think any were sold in the US.

Ralliart UK made limited runs of Evo's called FQ320 and the FQ400. Only sold in the UK and with quite a hefty price tag. It's really be cheaper to buy the standard Evo and and mod it from there.

Yeah building and bolt on mods would probably be the way to go. Besides
the Evo's they talked about would be rare to find but mods aren't. They offer a 2.2 or 2.3 stroker kit some racing flat top pistons,crank and rods. Plus I'm sure heads are out there.Not to mention all the bolt ons out there from Injen ect. You can easily see 400+ HP.Injen offers a kit that pipes the turbo and intercooler and also catback exhaust and hi-flow cat and a front mount intercooler that boosts stock Evos from 271 to 386 thats 115 HP.
